Bataron Sweet Potato Vermicelli is made from natural sweet potato starch – a root rich in fibre, vitamins and minerals, carefully selected to create chewy, smooth, properly flavourful noodles. Not deep-fried, the noodles keep a naturally light character with fewer calories than ordinary instant noodles – a healthy choice for busy modern people.

The sweet potato vermicelli recipe has a history of more than 400 years, originating in the Sichuan–Chongqing culinary tradition of China. Produced in a modern factory certified to BRC, ISO 22000 and HACCP, Bataron noodles achieve a characteristically smooth texture – not sticky, not mushy, no starch release even when cooked for long – and absorb the sauce evenly so every strand is full of flavour.
